The bottom line we need republicans and dems out of our lives so we can continue to have true progression.
You are right. If anyone can come up with a solution on how to get them out, I’m all ears. That solution should not interrupt economic growth because a bad recession would throw millions into poverty.
But voting in protest for a Republican, Scott Brown in MA, is not the way go to.
Voting for a “real” American such as Sarah Palin is not the way to go either.
You are married to one party and it is blinding you.
You are right again. Well… only in the sense that if I must have either one of the two parties, I prefer the Democrats, in their present incarnation.
I happen to like Obama. He’s bringing racial equity to America, if only it’s simply an image of it. Perception affects reality.

February 12, 2010 at 8:37 PM #512643sd_mattParticipantChurchill said “the best argument against democracy is a five minute conversation with the average voter”
How many average people know who Peter Schiff or Dean Baker are?
Until the day comes that people like these are household names we will not see much change….or it will be slow and very painful.
I am not holding my breath for significant change.
