But remember not so many years back when being broke was considered a bad thing? Imagine being at a party, and somebody says “I’m so happy, I finally paid off my credit cards, I’m debt free”
It’s great that they’re debt free, but in the old days, this would actually be considered being broke, now it’s considered being debt free and is a status that is something to be proud of.
