How will this story end?
Hmmm. Let me think. How about REALLY BAD!
Alex, what happened to you? Have you had a conversion of your own? I remember your rosy posts of yore. Like “there’re not making anymore land.”
I think it’s a nice project. But prices should only be $200k for 1/1 and $300k for 2/2.

More projects coming to Hillcrest.

I actually rent in another of the la jolla pacific’s developments in HC. They opened these up back in Nov. There is 12 units, they have sold 2 and are renting the rest. These guys seem really arrogant, they never even lowered the price once in the 10 months they were marketing them. They finally gave up and decided to rent them.
They have another one they want to build on university and 5th that is like 12 storys high. They were taken to court because it violates some enviromental code. Apparently they are appealing it. You think they would just scrap it because of all they other problems they are having with selling the other developments.
Units are listed for sale, I like all the down arrows on this one:
Compared to the other projects in the other, this building is of a much higher quality. The concrete construction makes the units feel very solid and keeps them very quiet. The deck space that the units have is very nice as well. I think in order to get quality you have to be willing to pay a little more.
I haven’t been by the area in several months, but I assume there is still a large gay bar across the street? Go to your balcony and pick someone from the closing time meat market. There’s a selling point they don’t mention on their website.
There are two gay bars. Numbers is across the street and The Flame is practically right next door to the complex. I haven’t been to either one of those bars in ages as it tends to be a very young crowd. I would not want to live right next to a club. Although they are very quick to disperse the crowds after closing it is still very noisy.
