No, they’re pushing for that trillion dollar coin.
The debt limit is clearly anti constitutional, not only because of the 14th but because it’s in contradiction with appropriations by Congress.
Arguably, by appropriating more than the debt ceiling, Congress has already raised it. The debt ceiling should be done away with.
The is very interesting. We have had shutdowns before, but we never had a government default.
