DC Market

Does anyone have any info on the DC market?

A friend bought a condo there in November ’04. Now, he may get transferred out here… needless to say, he’s got some decisions to make. Does he sell it? Does he rent it out?

I would be interested to hear if anyone knows any good sites like Piggington for that market. Or, do you remember reading any good articles on that area? If so, can you post links?

Anecdotes are good too.

Bubble Meter is a DC area blog. Not as good as Piggington in my opinion (but little is), but not bad. From there, he has a link to a couple other local blogs.

I believe DC is pretty bubbly, so you’re friend should probably sell unless he wants to hold for a fairly long time to achieve any kind of significant return.
