Is Cupertino also La Jolla adjunct, being only 15 hours to La Jolla?

Good god. That price is ridiculous. Unless one needs to be in Silicon Valley chasing riches, I really don’t see anything to the lifestyle up there.
But I guess, people can rationalize. Compared to London, 3400sf in Cupertino is almost a bargain. People in SV are going to have to get used to living in 650sf 2-bed 1-bath apartments.
San Diego is expensive but not like that.

That’s actually a nice home. I think my cousin lives in that community. I think he bought it for $1million awhile ago.
I think the CV house I posted is nicer. If they’re both the same price, I’d pick the CV house.
Does not quite meet my definition of being able to qualify as an “evil lair”

Well, the hysterical thing about Silly Valley was when I was there, my doctor was complaining about how he felt he was just middle class there and underpaid relative to his patients.

The RSF one would qualify as an starter “evil lair”, still a bit over priced for your villain just starting out.

That house sold for $248k in 1985.I wonder how high will this go before it comes crashing down.
This house in RSF was sold for $630k in 1988, which is over 2x the price of the PA house. Today, the ratio is flipped.

It won’t stop until the tech stock options game stops….
May 6, 2015 at 9:49 AM #785897CoronitaParticipantBut you know what. Even if palo alto just doesn’t have good enough lizards and walls for you… You can always go for the gold and get a nice “affordable” condo in Pacific Heights (SF)…..
It’s “only” $4.85 million for a 3/3 condo… Because obviously, the city has character!
Don’t forget though the schools suck in that area, so you’ll probably need to add another $22k/year to send each kids to private school too. And it will be a bitch to find parking.
