I don’t need to get a loan right now but will in the future. As far as the rate, is there much of a difference if your score is 750-760 compared to the rate you would get if it were 800?
Not wanting to turn this into a soap opera but back in 2001 the soon to be idiot X-wife became permanently idiot X-wife.

ParticipantUnfortunately, disputing the issue with the three credit reporting agencies may not do much. You can’t dispute a legitimate bad mark on your credit – they would research it by contacting the hospital, who would tell them that it was legitimate.
Try talking to the hospital first and asking nicely for them to remove it.
