ParticipantMy favorite line:
“Countrywide has policies and procedures in place that aim to prevent the type of activities Mr. Zachary is alleging,” the company said.Well apparently you didn’t. Or they didn’t work. Cause if they did, you wouldn’t be owned by BofA right now.

ParticipantI read the complaint. If it’s true and if he can prove his allegations then it’s going to get pretty interesting.
On the other hand, if he was just seeking fair compensation for unfairly losing his job I’d imagine a settlement would have already been reached.
I’ve already seen some lawyers trolling on a couple of boards soliciting insider accounts of misconduct at these lenders. I’m sure there’s plenty of guilt to go around. I’m equally sure that some false allegations will be made specifically for the purposes of profit and/or revenge.

ParticipantBofA doesn’t own Countrywide yet. Somehow I have a feeling the longer the deal stays, more likely it will fall through.
