Interesting.
If my kid gets in off the waitlist to. Sdsu, I’d like to buy a house there. Now wondering if distance learning could affect market there.
Still want something there, but I’d prefer to pay 400k than 600k.

They dodged a big bullet with the governor and state officials so preoccupied with covid, they stopped caring as much about pg&e. Also, now that people are staying home more, residential usage is going to go way up especially during the summer.

I was fantasizing, summer in sd, rent it out during school year, winter in temecula.
May 7, 2020 at 6:42 AM #817059CoronitaParticipantGot all my May rents in full too from every tenant. 3 month in a rows….Knock on wood.
Hopefully, with June people going back to work, this will be a thing of the past.
My goal is to hopefully hold out longer than most everyone else with a slight to upward increase net worth from multiple sources in case one or two of them get affected long enough for other assets to get discounted… and then hopefully be a position to buy in at good discounts. Time is ticking..

May 8, 2020 at 7:47 AM #817090The-ShovelerParticipantIMO it’s possible this whole thing just becomes a distant bad memory fairly quickly. Time will tell.
I was kind of hoping for another buying opportunity but I am good if the market/economy just puts this in the rear view mirror quickly.
