OAN – On SDL there is talk by one poster regarding bulk foreclosure buys. Thread is Where have all bank owned homes gone.
“I can tell you where all the foreclosures have gone – BULK SALES. Investors, hedge funds and management companies are buying these properties in packages from 20-100mil. These packages have anywhere from 50-200 SFR in them. Typical pricing is apx .68 to current value. No one wants to believe it here, but the bottom is closer than people realize. ”
This is a little concerning. What will the impact be?

doesn’t seem to be too accurate. It’s listing for example something on Heather Ridge (92130) as foreclosed. [/quote]Well, there is one on Heather Ridge going to foreclosure that I just marked on SDL. 10712 Heather Ridge Dr.

March 18, 2009 at 5:22 AM #369035CricketOnTheHearthParticipantThe densest clusters are recent condo conversions in my neck of the woods. These were converted from apartment complexes in 2005-2006, and thus sold at the peak.
This is from my knowledge of my little patch of the county, your mileage may vary in other locales.
