March 18, 2009 at 4:20 AM #369081CoronitaParticipantSince this data is coming from realty trac, I’d question if all of it is accurate.
If you drill down into some of the areas, you’ll notice that there are addresses that are marked foreclosed… But if you dig at the actual addresses, not all of them are “foreclosed”
You can play this game with 92130, and view everything south of 56 (north of 56 is a landmine, because of all the attached home, which makes sifting through the ones in forclosure and ones that aren’t difficult).
south of 56 is mainly SFH, and just looking at the partial addresses, it seems like some of these aren’t even SFH.
It’s bad, but probably not “that bad”

doesn’t seem to be too accurate. It’s listing for example something on Heather Ridge (92130) as foreclosed. (This would be something in either the Saratoga or Derby Hills, but most likely saratoga because of the sqfootage)..However, I’m not aware of anything on saratoga being a REO.
I’m too lazy to sign up for a free trial of realtytrac with a virtual CC number (again for the nth time)…But I’m pretty sure it’s not accurate.
A piggington realtor can probably confirm or not confirm this. And i stand to be corrected. I spent 2 mins looking at this.
