you might want more than 10% in international but I wouldn’t go overboard. International is the new “hot topic” and place to invest, so I wonder if the general public is going to bet heavy on international chasing winners and end up getting burned

January 10, 2008 at 5:15 PM #133697NeetaTParticipantI have all of my IRA money in an international fund. I thought it was going to be the panacea for otherwise investing in domestic stocks. So far I am losing money, as a matter of fact, the fund lost 10% in one day so I bought more hoping it would come back. It has come back some, but not much. I have 15yrs left before I’m able to pull the funds, so I don’t know why I look at it everyday. It is rated a 5 star fund and I hope it acts like one in the future.
