Contractor recommendation for wood flooring

Greeting everyone,

I was wondering if you know or have experience with contractors that install
wood flooring. From the following post form years ago, it seems AN had it done
for $1.5 per square foot.

I got some quotes from flooring companies and they all start form $2.5-3. We are handy enough to install vinyl or laminate, but I would like to go with wood since I want it to be more natural and less toxic.

Also, would you go with bamboo or engineered hardwood?

Get a few bids and compare. Be aware that the staining of hardwood floors is a very smelling affair and you’ll want to leave the house for several days.
