You are wasting your breath talking to a Liberal
Hey Zeit, why do some people always use the word “Liberal” in *every* discussion?
How does that contribute to the dialog?
Because I get confused, and I’d like you to help me out:
– I think the OP’s premise is idiotic…does that mean I’m not a “Liberal?”
– I voted for Bush in 2000, Kerry in 2004, and Obama and Issa(R) in 2008…does any of this make me a “Liberal?”
– I’ve supported the ACLU but I own guns and believe in the 2nd Amendment. I also believe that the Constitution and Freedom of Religion trumps political theater, and people should be able to build a house of worship of any religion anywhere …does any of this make me a “Liberal?”
– I’m steadfastly opposed to affirmative action …does this mean I’m *not* a “Liberal?”
I have other opinions on other issues. But it should be clear by now that I just don’t know what “team” I’m on.
On second thought Zeit, don’t bother, because I’ve figured it out myself: Many people don’t care what label you and your media pundit masters assign to us – we use our own judgment and make our own decisions.
