Condo Insurance recommendation

Hi,

I am looking for recommendation for bigger insurance companies that can issue an HO-3 policy for a detached condo in San Diego. I have called AAA, Ameriprise and All State and all of them don’t write insurance policies on Condo’s, even though the condo in question being a detached Condo is like a SFR.

I got a quote from an gent from “Universal North American Insurance Company? Any feedback on them.

AAA put me in touch with an Agent who primarily deals with AMIG (American Modern).
