Was her comment in French ? Maybe it was more like JFK’s “Ich bin ein Berliner”, than a Freudian slip.

June 18, 2007 at 10:02 AM #60089PDParticipantEverybody makes a slip now and then. I’ve called my Brother-in-law “Honey.” My husband has many times called me by my sister-in-law’s name. If she was talking in French, it means less than nothing. Now if there was a picture of the two of them in a clinch, that might mean something.

June 18, 2007 at 6:15 PM #60242Nancy_s soothsayerParticipantAccording to the recent issue of this magazine I was reading, Condi Rice was the founder of the “Millennium Challenge Corporation whose goal is to tackle global poverty and corruption.”
Yes, America! Naming an oil tanker after her sure was the first step towards tackling corruption. In my eyes she was also the cheerleader for the Iraq war effort which gave huge profits to Halliburton, KBR, and maybe, later on, oil companies.
