Within a public office, things may move along well, but the question of “what the hell are they doing with my 9% state income tax and 7.75% sales tax?” rings pretty loudly.

Also, government employees on all levels, tend to think there is a money tree in every backyard and often don’t understand where the money comes from. When I worked in the public sector (education), I made a conscious effort to minimize waste and unnecessary spending, on a daily basis. There is much that can be done there, IMHO.
