We are looking at Colorado Springs as a possible new home. Anyone lived there or have any insights into the city?

nice city.
snow never lasts, meaning that the day after snow, is already sunshining or clearing.
lots of outdoor activities, pikes peak, cog rail, air force academy, broadmoor golf, garden of the gods, 1 hour from denver
the only bad thing for me was lack of good chinese food.
the chinese food was made for white people : fried rice, egg roll, hot and sour soup, mushu this or that, and orange or sesame or sweet sour sauce deep fried everything =)

i bought my home in 1998. I have lots of cash on top of home equity. if you are one of the ones who outbid my offers for the 3 years, I am just laughing at you and how does it feel now to be a sucker?
