ParticipantThe house isn’t very good, if you google street view it, one of the bedrooms used to be the garage, still has the driveway.

ParticipantThe house could be an EZ-Up with a Port-a-Pottie out back and it would still be an under market sale.

ParticipantOne thing I have noticed about Clairemont (lived there for 12 years now) is that neighborhoods in Clairemont with 1-car garages are never very nice. Ranging from sort-of-sad to mild ghettoish.
As a place to live, I would never buy or suggest that anyone buy a 1-car-garage house in Clairemont.
No garage. Sad little neighborhood. 1/2 block from a high school. Ew. Ew. Ew. You definitely won’t get premium rent there, and tough to get quality tenant to bite.
I haven’t had a rental in Clairemont since I sold in 2005, but I would base any calcs on a fairly low rent for that place.
Price probably indicates a pocket deal.
