ParticipantI have my CDs with Countrywide bank, they are offering the highest rates now 5.50% APY for a 6 month CD. You just can’t do any better than that! They are DESPERATE for money and it’s FDIC insured so why do you care, go for it!!!

ParticipantI found one for 7% APY but you have to live in the Bay Area or know someone with an account with them to open your own because it’s a credit union.
