I’ve had to deal w/DH’s cat. I got stuck having to feed the cat b/c of his early morning work hours. Guess who is now the cat’s best friend? Ox, if you have any interest in gaining the love of the cat, just be the only one feeding them. Before you know it, they will be all over you.

Definitely not all cats behave this way. I know one who looks like a Maine Coon but acts like a Ragdoll who *cannot* tolerate being left alone by humans for more than a day.

We have a great midwestern lovecat.
He can’t stand being separated from you.he’s clingy.

I’ve known these cats since she bought them about a year ago (helped pick them out) and had sorta accepted their lame, skiddish behavior, but now it is getting to me. They lurk in the hall until you walk toward them and then they friggin bolt for under the bed like I am a feline ax murderer (hmm, there’s a thought). It has taken one of them almost a month to even come out from under the bed..[/quote]
1) They are scaredy cats
2) Try finding out if they Fishing, Mousing or Birding cats. fishing cats like tuna or anchovy treats. Mousers like chasing balls and little toys.
Birders like leaping and watching the birds in the window.if you have a birder, you need a “Da Bird” toy.
