Anyone that listens to Tony Robbins or Guy Kawasaki loses 100 points off my short list of “folks I think have huge potential of being brilliant”
…..That deduction goes to -200 points for people that actually PURCHASED material from them…(Not that any piggie here would :), right???)
lol, flu, I hadn’t seem him on video until today and have never read any of his books.
I don’t know how TR got his “education and experience” to say what he’s saying with conviction but I will say again that this young man has “charisma.”
Who is Guy Kawasaki . . . an heir of a two-stroke engine empire or something??

August 16, 2010 at 2:12 PM #591680CoronitaParticipantBrief hijack (and you need to tell me to stop before Rich kicks me off).
Lol. I lose 100 point for getting Guy K mixed up with the guy I meant to mention…
Robert Kiyosaki is the person I meant to lump in with Tony Robbins.
Guy K is actually a well renowned VC in the silicon valley..(Sorry about the mixup…For some reason, I always mix the two up)..
Anyway, Robert K’s the “author” of Rich Dad, Poor Dad…
Do yourself a favor and don’t bother reading any of his “instructional material”…Though I can see one point you might warm up to is…He says people who go to college are idiots…
Back on topic. I think the homes on north of 56 in CV are better then south of 56 in CV (Torrey Hills)…One thing to watch out for though in these older homes is make sure there isn’t some mold issues. I know, I looked at a SFH that was in the older part in CV, and it just smelled funny walking in… Also, the drawback is some of these homes don’t have the double pane windows, so you’ll need to redo those (if you care).

August 16, 2010 at 4:53 PM #591799lepetitangelParticipantThanks again Flu.
I think I know what I want…but I just don’t want to pay the price right now for it.
I’m waiting to see more homes coming out in Fall/Winter and see if market holds up.
In CV, it seems like there’re very few properties around 600~650K. You get a bunch under $550~$600 and a bunch over $700. But just not too much within my desired range.
