Anyway, I’ll be the first to admit that my SFH in Carmel Valley is a POS…Maybe it wasn’t that way before I got it, but it definitely is now 🙂
*Stucco wall has a few cracks.
*Some of the double pane glass have pressure leaks
*The wood floor is chipped and scratched with my girl dropping her toys on it
*The light beige berber carpet has seen it’s days, and any more cleaning, the berber unravels.
*The walls are all scuffed.
*The concrete outside has stress cracks
*The flagstone has stress cracks
*The porch on the second floor has dry rot maybe termites and the paint is peeling
*A lot of the vegetation is now dead.
*Some of the baseboard molding is warped after my kids dumped a gallon of water from the bathtub onto the floor without telling me…
*Cracked tiles on the floor
*Chipped counters
And no, I’m not intentionally defacing my home and planning to walk…But…all can be yours for the unbeatable price of $400/sqft 🙂
Side note: I don’t see the point of buying a nice looking home if you have kids…It just ends up getting beaten up….

I totally agree. We’ve got carpet that is literally 20 years old… we’ve held off replacing it because the kids were still young. Now with them at age 7 and 9, we’re considering it. But, we just got a dog… so maybe next year. LOL

I totally agree. We’ve got carpet that is literally 20 years old… we’ve held off replacing it because the kids were still young. Now with them at age 7 and 9, we’re considering it. But, we just got a dog… so maybe next year. LOL
