SD Realtor, this is an old thread but you had mentioned above to avoid the north east parts of PQ.
Can you be more specific about which streets you are referring to? What are the reasons to avoid these?Reason for my question is we are considering some properties which lie east of Black Mountain and west of I-15 along Carmel Mountain Road and would like to know the downsides.

I think that the part to avoid is really the very northeast corner of PQ – along I-15 (west side) up close to Camino del Norte – Penasquitos Dr, Del Diablo, Socorro, Andorra,Madrigal streets.
I am sure SD R will have better comments about the exact area you are looking at. It seems to me it’s a quite decent one.
