    Like the purchase market, if a rental is priced reasonably (within the range I stated above), it is gone within a week. If they price higher than that, the houses tend to sit. We follow the La Costa and Encinitas areas.

    We also have a different definition of what a nice rental is hence my higher price point.

    True. You prefer the newer models, and we prefer the older ones, right?

    We like the larger yards (in general), and the established trees and vegetation in the older neighborhoods. Still, everyone who’s visited our house has said that they were surprised by what we got for the money. It’s a nice rental. 🙂
