No if you want So Cal, I’d vote for San Diego. It’ is just nice.
otherwise if you can handle it, try santa cruz or on of the towns

Most of Riverside county is a hazmat zone, air-wise. A lot of people live and drive in those “pastoral” valleys. Do the “ocean breezes” blow the crap out (and up to Elsinore Lake, or something like that?)
