Unfortunately, for me, it is the relentless mis-informed postings from the conservatives trying to trash Obama and the Dems that have driven me away from Pigg website. After 8 years of Bush/Cheney lies, deceit, fiscal irresponsibility, ill-begotten wars, domestic spying, fear-mongering, etc, we are in a deep hole that will take years to climb out of. I am sure none of wants bailouts, but sometimes the medicine doesn’t taste very good. After thinking long and hard about what motivates their hatred of Obama, the only thing I can come up with is racism, plain and simple.[/quote]Wow. Please go back to be driven away from Piggington. Seriously. Disagreeing with Obama and his administration ipso facto means you are racist? Way to pull the race card. Go buy a house.

Participant“If you are looking for a large price decrease in a few months, I personally don’t see it happening. If you can wait another year or 2 or 3 then yes it may happen due to either large interest rate shock, or something else substantial.”
SDR, at this point I have given up on further price declines. I would settle for more inventory at REO sales prices. In the areas I have been looking hard at for the last 2 years, the choice inventory under 850k has essentially dried up. I feel like for every “deal” there must be at least 10 buyers. My hope is that buyers will get frustrated by the lack of inventory this fall and hibernate until the spring.

ParticipantHang in there pem…. perhaps we will get a slowdown for you to at least get to view some decent homes.
fcep obviously I am pretty outspoken in my thoughts. I guess in your mind that disagreement with the current party in power is equivalent to racism. By no means was the party before Obama any better, in fact to me they all stink. I don’t hate Obama the man, or Biden the man or Bush the man, or Cheney the man, or Pelosi the woman (well that one is borderline). I try to formulate my arguments and frustration simply as they are but if you take it as racism then that is unfortunate. It doesn’t make me change my views but it does add to my frustration.
So if I am not on board with the way things are then I am labled a racist? Honestly I don’t think that is an accurate portrayal.
Also BTW the bailouts started under Bush before Obama was in play and I didn’t like them then either.
