Those trees are Jacaranda trees.
They have nice purple flowers but they are a little messy IMHO and need more watering than oak trees.
Jacarandas are fine along the street where somebody else does the sweeping. Don’t plan jacarandas in the back or where there there’s no wind to blow the leaves and flower droppings away.
