Been hanging out and watching y’all for a long time and looking for a good time to enter the SD market for rental sites. Anyone have any good information on multi-unit B or C properties between the East Village and Nestor rental markets? Have the dry rent comp, crime and other market data but not a feel for the area.
In particular, looking for knowledge of the pressure from SFH and condo vacants on current rents and occupancy rates. Also, any recent or anecdotal info on employment, ex. who is hiring and who is firing would be helpful. And projection of the what and where it is happening and why you think so would help.
