Participant“Market can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent”.. that being said I have had some luck in BEARX, EEV and SKF during last year’s bloodbath… was just lucky on the timing. Ultrashorts are a good choice. IMO watch for the market to turn soar by certain percentage and then get in and get out with discipline after certain gains. Sideways market erodes bear funds.

That last sentence is very important. Essentially, time erodes the value of the leveraged (2X, 3X) inverse funds. They can lose money, even if the market trend is on your side. Do not buy these unless you really understand the risks.
