ParticipantI’ve been thinking of investing in a 1 bedroom condo at Verano. The prices seem to be very attractive right now. Any thoughts on how much I should offer on a short sale? How easy are they to rent out?

ParticipantI haven’t seen anyone mention the price of the various units, just the rent. In the OP’s case, how much are they going for? There are rents quoted for various units ranging from 900 to 1500 but no menion of cost, for those of us keeping score at home, it would be nice to know the purchase price in formulating advice.

ParticipantHi Kcal,
Post a bogus ad on Craigslist and see how many hits you get at various price levels. It’s a decent sized investment and that’s the only way to see how rentable it is at the income you want. Be sure to post it with some pictures because people narrow out the ones without images.
I would offer 1-3% below the comps that sold in the last few months.
