Lonestar2000,
Congratulations! I got the S as well in Midnight Blue. I just saw a brand new Mossy Xterra in Night Armor going north on Encinits Blvd. about 3:30 today, maybe it was you? Looked too clean to have been out of the dealership long π Where’d you end up buying yours?
Looks like you got me beat by about $200 (and without the free alarm too… curses!), but I’ll admit that I was stuck on the color.
Enjoy, and take it easy breaking it in!

July 18, 2009 at 10:41 PM #433674RaybyrnesParticipantI’ve bought and sold a lot of cars but I am always willing to try something new. FLU seems to have a good online buying process that sounds like it should work. I thought it time to put it to the test.
I am searching for a New 2009 White Honda Civic for a friend. Right now Honda is offering a 1000 cash rebate. Filled out an online forum and Pacific Honda was on the horn in 5 minutes. Very courteous and professional. They were willing to do Invoice minus 1000 manufacturer rebate. I asked about Holdback, advertising, and finance but did not get much response on this.
Has anyone recently bought a new Civic or accord. What dealership proved to be the most competitive.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Your best 1st step would be to email ALL the dealers w/ x miles (x= the amount of miles you’re willing to drive to get the car). Make sure to be very specific w/ the model and options you want. It’ll be easier to compare apple vs apple. Then, if the farthest one give you the best price and if you don’t want to drive all the way there, you can always call the nearest dealer to see if they’ll match/beat the ABC dealer’s price. That’s what I did recently and I end up having to drive to Mission Viejo to get the best deal.July 18, 2009 at 10:59 PM #433883anParticipant[quote=Raybyrnes]I’ve bought and sold a lot of cars but I am always willing to try something new.
