CoronitaParticipantWhy can’t people just learn to consume less?
I never understood folks that spend soo much on so much crap and purchase stuff on credit without being able to pay it off. Short of being in debt because of medical bills, I really don’t understand how/why folks even carry a CC balance…That’s just usury.
Hey, I’m in for putting the screws to Walmart…I hate places like that that sell a bunch of useless crap that ends up at people’s garage sales. Once upon a time Walmart use to advertise Made In Usa products with pride…They stopped doing that a few years back, and you’ll be pressed to find anything made there still, including Corningware (which I have to say suck now in quality).
Why stop at China? I think if you’re going for the gold, don’t buy any imports at all…Canada, Mexico, Europe, South America. Why be biased against asia? Food and clothes are the easiest categories to buy all american (if you are willing to pay the difference). Bring it.

ParticipantWell, you can always shop at American Apparel. But it’s going to be tough, as I said, to buy something not made in China. Heck, I think good, old Levi’s are now made in China.
