OT: Just thought I’d through this out there. Bought one of these https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hKWZM_n9f-M and then put a sensor on the door and made a rule that texts me when the door closes. Caught 9 mice in short order, then made the mistake of putting them in this https://www.walmart.com/ip/Hamster-One-Size-Funny-Home-Cage/47133384 all escaped but one. Luckily the cage was outside and all I have to do is catch them again. Catch and unintended release. Also learned that the California field mouse is different from the rest as they are not polygomous. Go figure! Those little buggers are damn fast, no wonder the cats have a hard time catching them.
