DW I don’t think the congrats has anything to do with the price or the financials of the deal whatsoever. I think they are more in line with the fact that Bubblesitter found a home for his family and acknowledged that he does not think his submarket will bottom out until 2011.

Congrats, BS.
And I second SD R’s comments….also a part of the congrats is that BS is doing something that obviously makes him happy and he can now get on with the rest of his life.
Getting an absolute killer deal is not the top priority of all of us on this board (though he may have found one)…most of us want to find a home we love at a decent price and go in with our eyes wide open. Which is exactly what he’s done.

We dont even have a purchase price range. So he got a good interest rate and it was a good deal????
This isnt to take away from your purchase bubblesitter, I am sure itll work out for you. I am glad you are happy with your new home. I just want to know where this sedement of celebration and congratulations comes from without any knowledge of the details of the purchase price. Or is now a good time to buy, regardless of the little details like price, size, condition, or location?
Were you around in 2006 when everyone laughed at us saying RE would not go down at all let alone how far it has already dropped? We already fucking won guy. Does he have to post his address and state really what good deal he got just to prove to you?
