Im no expert on this, but how can everyone be saying good job or great timing without any details? We dont even have a purchase price range. So he got a good interest rate and it was a good deal????
This isnt to take away from your purchase bubblesitter, I am sure itll work out for you. I am glad you are happy with your new home. I just want to know where this sedement of celebration and congratulations comes from without any knowledge of the details of the purchase price. Or is now a good time to buy, regardless of the little details like price, size, condition, or location?

April 11, 2009 at 10:55 PM #379465SD RealtorParticipantDW I don’t think the congrats has anything to do with the price or the financials of the deal whatsoever. I think they are more in line with the fact that Bubblesitter found a home for his family and acknowledged that he does not think his submarket will bottom out until 2011.

April 11, 2009 at 11:28 PM #379470jpinpbParticipantCongrats, Bubblesitter. Hopefully it is a place that you will enjoy. Sounds like you are happy about the purchse. W/wife and kids, it’s tough to keep putting it off. You resisted for a while, so I understand the concern.
Hopefully the purchase was not fear motivated. I’m sensing a lot of that lately, people talking about inventory low, rates low, buy now b/c prices are going to go up, up and away – again. The pressure is rather annoying. People should buy when it’s right for them and it sounds like it was time for you to jump in. Enjoy your home! I’m happy for you.
