I have to agree with the above situation as a form of affirmative action that is not legislated, but still practiced and always will be: the good old boy, insider affirmative action. It will not cause me to change sides politically, but I agree with the post.

My FIL (RIP) who went from flying propeller to jet planes managed 20 years in the Navy without crashing one of their aircraft.

Everytime someone says on here why their candidate is better it makes me want to vote the other way.
