Honestly I’d love to know the rationale behind why this person thinks a lawsuit is warranted.
Not Trojan but the one who caused the blog to be taken down. I can bust his kneecaps if needed, or kick his ass all the way to Jamul….
On second thought OCR will have to fight his own battles.

January 15, 2009 at 10:24 AM #329236jpinpbParticipantThat’s true. In a way it’s almost like the religious folks complaining about Howard Stern. Just don’t listen if it offends you. Don’t watch a tv show you don’t like. And don’t read a website that posts public information and opinion. God knows there’s only billions of other sites you can surf to.
BTW – if OCR defaults and/or forecloses, that will be public information and anyone can post that information. He is not being secretive regarding that. Everyone’s identity who posts is anon. About the only people who are very public is Rich, Mr. Mortgage and Jim the Realtor.
OCR started a blog and chose to be anon. No one complained about that for 4 years. Now that he decided to purchase a home, people want to know who he is — and threaten to sue him.
That’s BS.

I have thought about what you are saying regarding this escalation of potential harm. It’s like an innocent campfire that gets out of control. It is going to put the camper who started it in the spotlight in very uncomfortable ways, especially if he didn’t make much effort to put it out, worse if he fanned the flames or it is perceived that he did.It is really not about privacy, but harassment or intent to harm a reputation. I am not saying OCR had those intents, but what was going on there had red flags all over it. And even if it was on target snake poking, your still poking snakes…venomous ones. To do this without the full support of the law is questionable. What private citizen has the full support of the law, especially on these issues? None.
JP, Many millions, maybe billions never went to OCR’s blog. It didn’t stop him from getting in hot water with it. Who is shooting the messenger?
