I know there are some mobile engineers here. So here is my question/observation. Sprint’s stock is near a 52 week low. I use Sprint so I know they suck, but why are they paying their CEO’s so much when they are not making any profit? I just heard on Bloomberg that Cheasepeake just lowered their board’s pay by 20%, so why doesn’t Sprint lower their boards pay, their CEO’s pay, basically everybody there that makes too much money for a non profit company. If I were Warren Buffet I would buy Sprint for $7B, fire/reduce pay and set a long term plan to return them to profitability. If they would do it the Warren Buffet way I would be happy to buy their stock.

Instead of trying to figure out who will win in the war on carriers and mobile platforms, why not just invest in the arms supplier, the ones that supplies to both sides of the war? The more they fight, the better off the suppliers are.
There are not four. Only Big Two. Verizon and AT&T… Sprint and TMob are fighting for third and there is a huge gap between them and number Two…
I am surprised that you don’t like Sprint. In San Diego they are one of the top rated services…
Anyway I would avoid buying either TMob or SPCS. They are in a huge hole in the term of the number of subs and that is everything in the Cellular stock game.
