Without any other info I would say a 3 Series BMW.

A BMW 335i is probably one of the best overall cars in the world.

No doubt the 335i is a great ride but I would avoid the 335i until they put a permanent fix on the High Pressure Fuel Pump issues. I was going to buy a used convertible 08-10 and found out too many issues with the fuel pump and too many repeated repairs without any success.

My wife and I just test drove the Audi A4 and really liked it. She is debating between the A4 or the BMW 335i. I think those two are two of the best in that price range.
