Love Samsung and will always recommended them… I like HTC as well… The last couple of years HTC has made some damn good products. Are you sure that you have the GPS reciever on? Sometimes you they need to be turned on manually…

Overall I’m very pleased with my phone; my wife has an iPhone 4 and the screen seems tiny compared to my thunderbolt. The downside is Thunderbolt doesn’t have the best battery to support its ginormous screen and 4G.

August 24, 2011 at 1:32 PM #723636briansd1GuestSo far these are the features in Android i prefer over the iPhone:
1. Easy to root/unlock so you can use sim cards from other carriers anywhere in the world. (you can buy unlocked iPhone but it’s expensive).
2. Can drag and drop documents into the phone just like you would a USB flash drive. You can view the docs using Quick Office.
3. Voice recognition for texting which works pretty well. I do a fair amount of texting just staying in touch with people. It’s nice to not have to type.
4. large screen. iPhone looks tiny. (funny back when phones were just made for calling, I wanted the smallest one possible. Now I want large screen).
The new iPhone 5 ‘d better be good, otherwise Apple will lose market share.
I’m bored with the iPhone now. I needed a new toy.
