Guest
The suggestion that all internet conversations will eventually boil down to Hilter is called Godwin’s Law (well I’m paraphrasing)

Went to school with Mike, he’s a smart fellow.
Of course, this is most basic corollary (which will tell you who should be losing the healthcare debate).
By 2007, The Economist had declared that “a good rule in most discussions is that the first person to call the other a Nazi automatically loses the argument.”
Whoever doesn’t support war is a Neville Chamberlain facing Hitler.
It’s always the same tired argument.

ParticipantSince we are all apparently bored and down to talking politics we should do something like a thread-jacking contest.
Maybe go to other sites, get on their threads, and see who can be labeled Hitler in the fewest posts.
Brian
The Neville Chamberlain comment truly is a staple of right wing radio.
While we don’t need to be in a state of constant war like the cons like us to be we still need to tell people like Ahme din a whatever to go f### himself. That guy is a piece of feces.
The problem with that line, is that I don’t think that even Rush listeners know who Neville Chamberlain is. They just recognize Hitler.
I would love for Jay Leno (or someone like him) to do an informal survey.
When people compare Obama to Hitler, I can’t help but shake my head or laugh.
