A friend of mine lives on Bayard and the house near hers (address: 4212 Bayard, cross-street Oliver) recently sold to that pair of 20-somethings who bought a bunch of houses by SDSU and made them into mini-dorms with something like 6 – 10 bedrooms apiece.
They were going to do this same treatment to a few houses they purchased in PB but the neighborhood went completely ballistic (along with Mike Aguirre) so they quickly decided against it and resold the house in just a couple of weeks.
Does anyone (Realtors, appraisers) have the inside scoop on what the sales prices were? The first sale closed escrow mid-April and the second, not too much after that.
The house had originally been on the market at 1.2 million for over a year before it sold.
