I guess I shouldn’t mention it that Ford isn’t exactly living up to what it says about being serious about quality either. Read my previous link about owner grips with the Ford Edge. I’m kinda bummed about it, since I was hoping it would have been a higher quality vehicle.
So…your quote above basically says “read what I said about Ford”. ?
Well, read about what about 100 or so owners are saying. After all, as objective as we try to be about Toyota, Ford and GM aren’t exactly squeaky clean, even after being “reborn”….that is, unless you have your biases towards domestics as others do for toyota….
I don’t see how a manufacturer could let a major problem go through 3 years without a resolution. It’s not exactly just a squeak or rattle.
Just doing my due diligence before purchase.March 18, 2010 at 8:35 PM #527823CoronitaParticipant

I guess I shouldn’t mention it that Ford isn’t exactly living up to what it says about being serious about quality either. His 4000 sq ft foreclosed Bonita house that was referenced earlier was listed and sold quickly. We overbid on in by a lot and still didn’t get it (although to this day I think the listing agent just used our overbid as leverage for the end buyer).
The listing price was a meager 499K for this upscale house that ultimately sold for over 600K. The reason?…….The previous owner stole the entire kitchen out of the house before turning it over to the bank.
And I mean THE ENTIRE KITCHEN! Cabinets, granite countertops, appliances and even the lights. It was literally stripped down to the wall studs!
Do I think this realtor, who somehow managed to piss away all the easy money he made during the bubble years is dirty? Yep.
