Yes; when $ depreciates, you will see foreigners lapping up IBM, Intel, Microsoft, GE, Boeing etc., Lot of high quality real estate in NYC, Silicon valley, Seattle, Chicago etc., too. Walmart, Target, Costco, many Pharmaceutical companies, consumer products like Proctor, Johnson are all still valuable in a stagnant economy.

May not be in the sense of driving cross country in RVs displaying “I am spending my children’s inheritance”, but surely they will be a huge burden on social security & medicare. And, they won’t be paying much taxes. Net result – trillion $ deficits as far as the eye can see.
