There’s a reason why the original post feels like bullsh!t. Because it is!
Here’s the real data with a link.
Median household income (SD County 2000): $60,610
Median household income (SD County 2009): $60,231http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/2010/sep/28/household-income-plunges-in-sd-county/
California as a whole had an even bigger drop than San Diego County.
Be very skeptical of any post made by one of the many right-wing nuts who post here. If they don’t provide a link backing up what they say, assume they pulled their ‘facts’ right out of their ass.

Thank you for that link. That seems more in line w/my experience and that of people I know. Actually, maybe worse b/c that’s not factoring the unemployed. I know one that is still not working in over a year. Another actually got a part time job after being unemployed over a year and during that time was able to finda full time one and another one is still working part time after being unemployed for over a year previously. All of them were working full time 10 years ago. I just added another friend who 4 months ago got a promotion. Last month became unemployed.
Going by the circle of people I know, that does not indicate they’re better off than 10 years ago.

February 5, 2011 at 8:27 AM #662967sdrealtorParticipantI dont think An pulled those facts out of his ass. They are right there on http://www.sandag.org website. Who you chose to beleive depends upon where you sit. The sandag numbers show income in 2009 adju to 1999 dollars is up around 10% the places I checked (region, carlsbad & encinitas). I wouldnt be so quick to discredit those numbers just because they didnt fit my picture of the world nor would I accept them at face value because they do.
Beleive half of what you see and none of what of you read.
