Not well. Actually, I’m lucky if I can hit the birdie. But since so many other asians do, I had to for social reasons. That and golf (which I also suck at so bad, I managed to piss of folks at Morgan Run)…My sis is a better golfer than me. Lot better, since it’s a requirement in her field.

Apparently, not many people I know at decent skiers and none of them are interested in rollerblading (fast) either. Having a kid, means you end up doing what she’s interested in. Or if you’re lucky, you get her interested in what you do… (I couldn’t fit in the ballerina outfit). It’s nice to put on the skates every so often..Though, again, I suck at hockey too. Got my ass kicked in intramurals in college. Didn’t even bother to try lacrosse or anything else that required a well-built body…I was pretty good a rifles and pistols, which was taught at my school too in the ROTC training area. (was not a ROTC person. Kinda wished I did it. Would have made me more disciplined)

That’s the first time I heard anyone had to play badminton for social reason. Maybe because I used to play competitively in school, I don’t see it as a social sport. Too bad that none of your friends do snow sport. I hear ya about kids though. Hopefully my son will like it when I put him on skis in a couple of years.
