you didn’t setup up an alternative email?
I guess not. I know I did in Google. Trying to help someone find a lost iphone and they can’t remember their password. The iphone’s location is stored up to 24 hours after being turned off (last location that is). Maybe I should have a friend in the NSA, I’m sure they could find it.Even if location services are turned off “findmyphone” can remotely turn it back on.So who could locate it faster Verizon? Apple? NSA? or Russia/China?
That’s usually how PW resets work. Don’t use a @me.com or work addy and have a recovery method for whatever account you DO use and you’re good.
I personally have never had an issue with a password reset. But I’ve never had to deal with it in the Apple universe before. Just seems kinda moronic for Apple to expect someone to be able to log into an account that they don’t have the password for. By the way I’m talking about an icloud account.
Ok, maybe I’m the brain dead one, I had no idea that any email address in the Universe could be The Apple ID.
And here I thought this would be an article about how middling the iPhone 7 is and how Apple has gone down hill under Tim Cook.
