Anecdote as a Seller

After being a reluctant landlord for about 2.5 years, and having enough of deadbeat demanding renters who can’t seem to remember to pay the rent on time but always remember when there is a sh.t stain on the carpet caused by their 15 year old near-death mutt, I decided life was too short and to sell my 4/3 3000 sq ft. SFR. I painted the home inside, cleaned it all up, put it on the market at an attractive price, and shazam, in escrow within 5 days with multiple quality offers.

I am keeping my fingers crossed until it closes, but if you are a seller and you price it right, serious buyers are tired of the junky f’d up trashed homes, BS short sales and foreclosures that are on the market. So, as a seller take advantage of the opportunity and make yours stand out from the rest of the junk on the market!

thanks CA renter, appreciate it, but like I said we had priced it very attractively, which ended up being about 10-15% less than it would have sold for 2-3 years ago. Now, all things considered that’s not too bad, but 10-15% less over the course of 2-3 years turned out to be a pretty big $$$ hit. But, I am not complaining, as there are alot of folks much worse off.

as to the zip, I don’t wanna mess anything up, so I will wait until it closes (fingers crossed) and then re-post.

thanks CA renter, appreciate it, but like I said we had priced it very attractively, which ended up being about 10-15% less than it would have sold for 2-3 years ago. Now, all things considered that’s not too bad, but 10-15% less over the course of 2-3 years turned out to be a pretty big $$$ hit. But, I am not complaining, as there are alot of folks much worse off.
