I was hoping for high 400s for some of those units but after living in the area for 2.5 years and seeing the type of buyer that is buying these places then filling them with extended family, I lost hope that the pricing would ever reach that point. I could be wrong.
I know someone who lives in 4S, and he’s mentioned the same thing, a few houses on his block have a lot of cars in the driveway and the street and thinks there are over 10 people living in a few of the homes.
Well, it is kind of wasteful for a couple with a kid or two to live alone in a 3,500+ sf house ;)
I was talking about multi family sub 2000 sq ft homes being packed. 3500 with one or two is overkill i would agree. sub 3k sq ft isnt.

Everyone have different level of comfort. I’m living in a 2000 sq-ft house today and there’s more than enough space if my parents want to live with us. I grew up with grand ma, 2 aunts, 1 brother, and 2 parents in a 1300 sq-ft house. It didn’t feel tight at all. With 3500 sq-ft, that’s more than enough room to fit at least 6 adults + some kids comfortably. Granted the adults have to get along well.January 17, 2010 at 2:42 PM #503076anParticipant
I don’t know how many people are just looking or seriously considering buying. Monteluz’ first phase is sold out. Res 1 2556-2770 sq ft 672900, Res 2 3508-3690 sq ft 715900-721900, Res 3 3780-3949 aq ft 732900-741900. I think they are priced well. Andalusia has four plans that range from 625900-686900 and from 2222-3303 sq ft. also priced well. I think these will sell out quick like Maybeck did.
